Something others may not know about me: Had to opportunity to spend almost 3 weeks in Europe when I was 16.

How Long Have I Served @ Mission: 2 years as Youth Ministry Intern before becoming Youth Ministry Coordinator in late 2010
Responsibilities: Coordinating events and small groups for students as well as teaching on Wednesday night and Sunday School.
What I Enjoy Most about My Work at Mission: I love working with the youth because you get to act crazy and be a big kid but you also get to see the lessons taught and advice given put into action in their lives so you’re able to see how God used you in their life and witness how He is using them. It’s a very rewarding place to serve at Mission.
My Hobbies: Cooking, playing violin, swimming, and going to the gym
What do I enjoy most when not at Mission: Naps are always appreciated. I also enjoy watching movies and catching up on other things I have to do around the house or in school.
Dream Vacation Spot: Some Island in the Bahamas
Favorite Movie: I am Legend, Seven Pounds, Chronicles of Narnia, and The Emperor’s New Groove. Those are just a few, I love movies and generally watch a new release every weekend.
Favorite Band/Musician: Lecrae, Flyleaf and other musical groups like that, I also enjoy classical music.
Favorite Food: Chicken Alfredo, Ratatouille, and Chinese Food.
Something others may not know about me: I am horribly afraid of clowns, the ocean, ladders, and heights…oh and spiders.

How Long Have I Served @ Mission: 30 Years
Responsibilities: In charge of selecting music for worship services and special services throughout the year, leading rehearsals of the Music Ministry Team each week to prepare for music for services.
What I Enjoy Most about My Work at Mission: I truly enjoy working with the Music Ministry Team. This team is a very gifted and talented group, but most of all, they use their talents for the glory of God and I join them in this celebration. I have a had the privilege of working with Pastor Russell since I have been at Mission. Also, I have been blessed with the opportunity to minister with my twin sister, Koni, and consider this one of the biggest blessings of my life.
My Hobbies: Exercising, Listening to Christian Music, Watching Nephews (Will Huneycutt and Jace Whitley) and Niece (Emily Huneycutt) play sports at West Stanly High and Catawba College.
What do I enjoy most when not at Mission: Shopping with my sisters

Something others may not know about me: I sang backup for Barry Manilow in a college choral group. I also played basketball, softball, tennis, and was a majorette in high school at Albemarle. Koni and I won many tennis championships from when we were about 6 years old through high school in doubles. But, I was unable to ever beat her in singles!

Responsibilities: 1) Assist in the planning of music for services 2) coordinate and lead children’s worship time as a part of Camp Mission
What I Enjoy Most about My Work at Mission: working with pastor, staff, worship team, and musicians
My Hobbies: sports (watching and supporting my children from elementary school through college)
What do I enjoy most when not at Mission: Spending time with my family

Responsibilities: Encouraging parents, teachers, and children in their spiritual journeys
What I Enjoy Most about My Work at Mission: I enjoy seeing the teachers teach, I enjoy seeing the parents teach, and I enjoy seeing the children learn about God, Jesus, and the wonderful Bible stories. There is nothing like seeing a child “get” something about God that they didn’t understand before!
