Worship Services

Our Worship Services are:

A time of Celebration – We believe that worship is a time to celebrate that which God is doing and has done in our lives.  We celebrate the fact that God sent us His son so that we might have eternal life (John 3:16).

An expression of Love – We are called to love our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. (Mark12:30)  Our worship is a time when we express that love through our singing, our words and our actions.  We want everyone to feel free to worship in any way they wish that will glorify God.  It is OK to raise your hands, to clap for Jesus, or to close your eyes and sing to God.

Contemporary – This means a lot of things to a lot of people.  To us it means that we use a variety of tools in order to connect with God.   We have a praise band and a praise team that leads in worship.  We use multi-media to project the words to songs on the screen, to help you follow along with the meaningful and practical messages, and to show video clips that will help illustrate a biblical truth.  It also means that it is OK to dress casually (jeans and shorts).

Focused on God – Our primary purpose of worship is for people to have a personal encounter with God. While we believe that worship must be interesting and relevant the one thing that will always be constant is that we will worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

Other Stuff About Our Worship Services
We offer child care for children ages 0-3.
We do not ask newcomers to stand nor do we try to embarrass anyone.
A typical worship service will last about 70 minutes.
