The Concord Night Shelter

The Concord Night Shelter week is our opportunity to serve a meal to those who dependent on the night shelter in order to have a roof over their head. Different groups within Mission volunteer different nights.

Meals are served at 7:00 and the meal and clean up usually wraps up between 8:30-9:00.

Mission partners with the Second Harvest Food Bank to assist with the distribution of food for those who are in need and live in the greater Stanly County area. Anyone can volunteer and we invite all of you to help distribute food.

Volunteers are needed to:

• Sort and prepare food for distribution
• Help those with physical limitations carry food to their cars
• Offer a prayer for those who are seeking spiritual guidance/assistance
• Hand out bottled water to those who are waiting for food
